As Privacy is very important, I try to keep the data I collect and process to what is necessary and be as transparent as possible. The following Privacy Notice of the Dreamcaster’s Shack e.U. ("Dreamcaster’s Shack", "I") will describe how I collect and process your personal data when you visit my website ("dreamcasters-shack.com") including any sub sites of it, send mails to the Dreamcaster’s Shack’s email addresses ("…​@dreamcasters-shack.com") or interact with me in other ways related to this shop. When processing and collecting your data, the Dreamcaster’s Shack is bound by the GDPR.

Personal data is any data, that, in isolation or combined with other data, can be used to identify a particular person.

As per the GDPR you have rights to access, correct and delete any personal data I collected about you. If you wish to enact these rights please message contact me at team@dreamcasters-shack.com and I will do my best to comply with your request.

4. What data do I collect

  • Server log files can contain client IP addresses and user agent strings (including hostname, browser type and version, operating system and referrer url) from connecting computers, paired with time and date of requests. These data alone cannot be associated with specific persons and I do not combine them with any data that would allow me to do so.

  • I collect any data that you willingly share via forms on the website, emails or other related means.

  • I may collect data, that is necessary to fulfil orders, from third-parties:

  • shipping address or payment details from PayPal

  • In no circumstances will I ever buy data from third parties or data brokers.

  • Data that was deleted might still remain in archives and backup files. Proper deletion, modification or insight into those can be requested via above mentioned email.

  • I will never intentionally collect sensitive information (such as racial or ethnic origin, political affiliations, religious/philosophical beliefs, biometric data, etc.) other than what you explicitly and publicly share on this platform.

5. How do I use the data I collect

  • Contacting you at your email, in ways that you have agreed to.

  • Monitoring the Website Usage and Investating possible fraud or attempts to harm this website or its users

  • Complying with my legal obligations

6. How do I share data I collect?

  • If I am required to share your Personal User Information through a search warrant or I believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with my legal obligations, protect my property or rights, or those of third parties or the public at large, I may disclose Personal User Information with law enforcment. However, unless I am prevented from doing so by law or court order, I will do my best to notify you of the extent of the required data disclosure and keep the disclosed data to a minimum.

6.1.1. IONOS SE

  • Purpose: Provide Services required for hosting the website and database.

  • Data Processing Location: Germany IONOS SE processes your personal data in accordance to their Terms and Condition and Data Processing Agreement.

6.1.2. Proton AG

  • Purpose: Provide Services in relation to sending and receiving emails

  • Data Processing Location: Switzerland Proton AG processes your personal data in accordance to their Terms and Condition and Data Processing Agreement.

6.1.3. PayPal Group

For the sake of simplicity and security, Payments, made using credit card or other services, that may be supported in your area, are all processed through PayPal. PayPal is a seperate data controlling entity that will collect and process personal data you share with them in accordance with their own privacy policy and terms. I have no influence over how PayPal uses and processes any personal data, collected by them while completing your purchase. Before any PayPal related scripts are loaded, you will be prompted to give your consent. I will not share any personal data with them, except for details about your order (the items in your cart, and their prices).

8. How do I secure your information?

I take all efforts, which can be reasonably expected from a one person business of my size, to keep your personal information secured and safe from external access or alteration. During transport all data on the website is encrypted using HTTPS (TLS). Even though great care is taken to keep your data safe, it cannot be guaranteed that no malicious attacker will ever get access to the above mentioned data. In the event of a data breach that affects users of this website I will act accordingly and do my best to mitigate the impact of a breach and notify any affected without unreasonable delay.

9. Data retention and deletion of data

I retain any personal data as long as is necessary to provide site services, fulfil customer requests and comply with legal bookkeeping obligations. Server Log files are kept for at most 7 days.

I reserve the right to change this Privacy Notice at any time. It is your responsibility to review the Privacy Notice whenever you use my services.
